During the six months ended June 30, 2017, A.M. Best Company reaffirmed Terra’s “A, Excellent, V” rating. According to A.M. Best’s Capital Adequacy Ratio Analysis (BCAR), Terra remains the highest rated PL carrier in the insurance industry with a BCAR score that exceeds the industry’s mean BCAR score by about 230%. BCAR measures an insurer's most important function: meeting its ongoing obligations to its policyholders.
