David L. J. Coduto
President and Chief Executive Officer
Soon after earning his bachelor's degree from San Francisco State University in 1977, Mr. Coduto joined Arthur Andersen & Co., specializing in audit, tax, and internal control reviews.
He moved to Design Professionals Insurance Company (DPIC) in 1980, where, among other duties, he served as a consultant to Terra. By the time he left DPIC, in 1984, Mr. Coduto
held the positions of Director, Treasurer, Vice President, and Chief Financial Officer. From 1984 to 1986, he provided independent financial consulting services to several insurance companies
and, since 1985, has been directly involved with Terra. Mr. Coduto has served as Terra's President and Chief Executive Officer since 1989, soon after the company reorganized as a risk
retention group. At the time, Terra had $5 million in assets and $2 million in equity. By the end of 2002, Terra's assets amounted to $38 million and its equity to $19 million.
Lisa Dyson Gamblin, Esq.
Vice President for Claim Administration and Risk Management
Lisa Dyson Gamblin, Esq. provides contract review and loss prevention services to Terra policyholders and manages all claims filed against them. A 1989 BA (political science) graduate
of UCLA, she earned her juris doctor degree from the prestigious Santa Clara University School of Law in May 1992. After being admitted to the California State Bar in 1993, Ms. Gamblin
joined the staff of a Costa Mesa, CA law firm where she performed various aspects of insurance coverage and defense litigation, including complex construction, environmental, and
asbestos-related matters. She continued that focus with a San Francisco law firm and, in 1999, became a claims supervisor for the DPIC Companies, a professional liability insurer
specializing in coverage for design professionals. Two years later, XL Insurance-Design Professional selected Ms. Gamblin to be its regional claim manager responsible for all claims
reported from offices west of the Mississippi River. Her responsibilities also included contract review and continuing education for design and environmental professionals.
Hal S. Arditti
Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Arditti attended the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he majored in psychology and earned a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude. Following his 1976 graduation, he
became a staff accountant for Arthur Andersen & Company, in its San Francisco office. Less than three years later he was appointed Director of Corporate Reporting of CP
National Corporation, the owner of several public utilities and other regulated companies, based in San Francisco. Mr. Arditti joined Terra in 1987, as its Controller, and assisted in the
Company's conversion to a risk retention group. In 1989, the Terra Board named Mr. Arditti Vice President and Assistant Treasurer and, in 1990, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer.
